About the series

LA RU(E)GISSANTE

La Ru(e)gissante is a series of pop-up performances in public spaces. The singers, initially anonymous within the crowd, gradually reveal themselves, inviting passersby to experience an immersive and unexpected musical moment.

Through lively and spontaneous staging, the ensemble moves, gathers, and disperses the audience, blurring the lines between everyday life and performance, between street and stage.

Les Rugissants invite you to join us on July 9 and 10 at Square Viger for the very first events of the La Ru(e)gissante series — a project that democratizes classical music by offering a vibrant and poetic moment in the heart of the city.
